Born and raised in the valleys, I have dedicated my life to education, sport and community development. I currently work as a teacher supporting children in residential care, giving me direct insight into how underfunded services affect vulnerable families and young people.
Alongside teaching, I have spent more than 15 years coaching rugby with Maesteg Harlequins RFC, Bridgend Ravens, Ospreys Age Grade and the Wales Women’s National Team. Rugby is in my blood and at the heart of who I am. From seeing a child scoring their first try in minis rugby to the excitement of a local derby day, rugby gives confidence, keeps young people on the right path, and opens doors they never thought possible.
